Open access webinar for patients with Adrenal Insufficiency
The Adrenal Patient Forum 2024 is a pilot webinar from ESE to respond to educational needs of patient community in the area of adrenal endocrinology.
In 2023 ESE ran a survey amongst affiliated PAG members to evaluate interest in an educational webinar in this area of endocrinology and to identify priority topics. Adrenal insufficiency – adrenal crisis came up as the main topic of interest and directed the focus of the pilot event.
The webinar ‘Adrenal Insufficiency: daily living and adrenal crisis prevention’ took place on 30 November 2024. This pilot event brought an international audience of 600 participants from 50 countries, who heard from a line-up of clinical and patient experts discussing various aspects of living with adrenal insufficiency, and preventing and managing adrenal crisis.
