Why become a National Society Partner of ESE?
Benefits for National Partner Society members include:
- the ability to nominate locations for future European Congresses of Endocrinology (ECE) ,
- contribute session suggestions for the annual ECE scientific programme,
- attendance of your Society’s President or representative at ESE’s Annual General Meeting(AGM), which is usually held during the annual ECE,
- attendance to the ESE Council of Affiliated Societies (ECAS) meetings, with voting rights, information on developments in Europe (triannual Advocacy (EARS) newsletter) and inclusion in representation in activities aimed at the European Parliament in Brussels,
- discounted ESE membership fees for all members of the National Partner Society,
- the use of the ‘Affiliated with ESE’ logo on digital and print materials.
In addition, all National Partner Societies automatically become a member of the ESE Council of Affiliated Societies (ECAS) which aims to raise the profile of European endocrinology through greater collaboration between ESE and the national endocrine societies of Europe.
ECAS provides a forum for discussions between the European Society of Endocrinology and its National Partner Societies about future projects, an opportunity for them to raise concerns and issues faced by their members and for the National Partner Societies to work together with the European Society of Endocrinology for the benefit of endocrinologists throughout Europe.
Members of the ESE's National Partner Societies are eligible for a discount on ESE individual membership and renewal fees. Please note that the discount is only available for yearly membership (not Lifetime).
By joining ESE as well as your National Partner Society, you will gain full access to our membership benefits, including eligibility for our awards and grants, discount on training and meetings, and the ability to contribute to our work across education, research and advocacy.
Please visit your relevant membership page for details.
As an ESE National Partner Society member, a contribution of €2.50 per national member of the society is payable as a contribution to ESE's Policy and Advocacy work via the ESE Advocacy Representation Scheme (EARS). This contribution enables us to work on behalf of our members and the whole of the endocrine community in this important area.
Becoming part of the EARS Community is at no cost to the individual members as the small annual fee of €2.50 is paid on their behalf by their National Society. Please note that this is separate to any existing ESE membership.
Our quarterly newsletter is dedicated to keeping you informed with key developments within ESE's Policy and Advocacy work.
