Membership for Individuals
Individual membership is open to all those in clinical and basic science roles, nurses and allied health professionals who work with patients with endocrine conditions. We welcome all who are at the early stages of exploring a career in this exciting discipline, those in mid-career and senior levels, and also those who have retired.

ESE Members can read the latest research free of charge through the Members' area, benefit from reduced rates on print subscriptions and receive discounts on open-access publication fees. In addition, ESE Members receive a 20% discount when purchasing ‘Advanced Practice in Endocrinology Nursing’ – the first ever book published in Endocrinology Nursing.
Making high-quality education and training accessible to all our members is a vital part of our efforts to improve care for patients with endocrine conditions. ESE offers a wide range of events, courses and webinars for members and non-members. These cater to all career stages and roles, and include a variety of formats to suit your goals and schedule. Some of the advantages for members include reduced registration fees, online access to previous events, and grants to cover the cost of attending.

Specialist Partner Society Membership is open to specialist endocrine societies in Europe and in countries bordering the Mediterranean Sea, as well as pan-European and national societies.
Associate Partner Society Membership is open to endocrine societies outside of Europe, whether specialist, general endocrine, specialist endocrine or an international society.
If you self-certify you will be asked to provide evidence on application that you are actively engaged in the field of endocrinology or a related subject. You can do this by (for example) providing a list of up to four of your publications or a statement not exceeding 100 words.
Sanctions Policy
Individuals from sanctioned countries may be permitted individual ESE membership, but all individuals from sanctioned countries and their institution will be subject to a compliance check. No sanctioned individuals or individuals from sanctioned institutions will be granted ESE membership. Please refer to our Sanctions Policy for details.

Once you have logged in, select the SIGN UP button which will take you to our quick and simple form to complete.

All applications for ESE Membership are considered by the ESE Executive Committee.
Membership applications take between 2-5 working days to process and can take a little longer during busier periods, such as before the annual Congress. Please ensure you submit your application within plenty of time including any required additional information.

Looking to renew your membership?
Please note, by agreeing to the terms and conditions, you have read the Memorandum of Association, in particular clause 7, and the Byelaws.
Applications for membership will not be processed until receipt of the completed application form and payment. Please allow up to 2-5 working days for us to process your application. All applications for ESE Membership will be approved by the ESE Executive Committee at their regular meetings.
The ESE membership year runs from 1 January to 31 December.
Lifetime membership is available to full Members only and will run from 1 January of the first year applied for.
Applicants applying within the first nine months of the membership year will be expected to pay the full year’s membership fees. Membership fees will not be reduced on a pro-rata basis.
Applicants need to complete the online application form and make payment by credit or debit card, or by Direct Debit. Please contact the ESE Office with any questions about the application process.
Membership renewal notices will be sent approximately three months before the start of the membership year, Members are asked to ensure that payment is made promptly and no later than 31 December.
You agree that we may vary this agreement from time to time. Any such variation shall become effective by us notifying you in accordance with this clause.
By applying for membership, you permit ESE to process your personal details.
As an ESE member, you will receive mailings and email alerts from ESE on its own and related activities.
As an ESE member, your contact details will be included in the online Members’ Directory if you chose to be included. The Members’ Directory is located within the password-protected Members’ Area. The password-protected Members’ Area is available only to current ESE Members.
In the event of any error in your payment, please contact the ESE Office.
Refunds will be made where appropriate, at the sole discretion of ESE.
Refunds cannot be provided for part of the membership year if membership is cancelled.
Notification of cancellation of your membership must be made in writing via email to the ESE Office and received by the end of the current membership year.
ESE's Sanctions Policy outlines the guidelines and procedures which ESE will follow when dealing with individuals or institutes who work or reside in countries that are subject to financial sanctions from the UK Government.
