10 November is NET Cancer Day, which raises awareness for the incidence and mortality of neuroendocrine tumours (NETs). NETs are more common than brain, ovarian or cervical cancer, yet are often easily missed.
NET Cancer Day 2024 focuses on raising awareness of the signs and symptoms of NETs to encourage earlier diagnosis. Currently the median survival duration of neuroendocrine tumours is just 41 months.
