EU Green Week (3 to 5 June 2025) is an annual opportunity to raise awareness, promote and discuss European environmental policy. Organised by the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Environment, this high-level event attracts policymakers, leading environmentalists, stakeholders, and interested parties from across Europe and the globe.
ESE, and more specifically its EDC Working Group, use the momentum of the week to raise awareness for the impact of Endocrine Disrupting Chemicals. Even though EU and national legislative frameworks and policies have been improved, numerous harmful chemicals continue to enter the EU market and cause significant damage to our health and environment.
This year the theme of the week is "Circular economy".Â
