35th ESE Postgraduate Training Course - Romania 2025

The 35th ESE Postgraduate Training Course in Clinical Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism took place in person from Thursday 20 February to Sunday 23 February 2025 at the Crowne Plaza, Bucharest, Romania and online

We are delighted to be running this course with the Romanian Psychoneuroendocrine Society and the Romanian Society of Endocrinology

We hope you can join us in-person in Romania, or online. 

The course included presentations on relevant aspects of clinical endocrinology. Participants had an opportunity to listen to and interact with leading European experts in the field of endocrinology and metabolism. During the lectures, faculty members shared their knowledge and clinical experiences based around cases, and there were many chances to ask questions and interact with the experts. There was also a chance to test your knowledge. 

The event took place in-person in Bucharest and also online.

Each medical specialist should claim only those credits that he/she actually spent in the educational activity. The EACCME® awards ECMEC®s on the basis of 0.5 ECMEC® for every 30 minutes attended live.

Through an agreement between the European Union of Medical Specialists and the American Medical Association, physicians may convert EACCME® credits to an equivalent number of AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Information on the process to convert EACCME® credits to AMA credits can be found at https://edhub.ama-assn.org/pages/applications.

Live educational activities occurring outside of Canada, recognised by the UEMS-EACCME® for ECMEC® credits are deemed to be Accredited Group Learning Activities (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.

Credit will be converted based on one (1) hour of participation equalling one credit for all activities. Physicians wishing to convert EACCME® credits to AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ will be required to access the AMA website at https://edhub.ama-assn.org/pages/applications to obtain the necessary paperwork and instructions. Physicians and other health care professionals will be required to pay a processing fee to the AMA.

Crowne Plaza Bucharest Hotel is located at 18 minutes' drive from Henri Coanda International Airport, Crowne Plaza Bucharest is a refined hotel in the north part of the city, with good public transport connections to the city center and Gara de Nord train station. The hotel is adjacent to the Romexpo exhibition centre and close to the business office area. The Arch of Triumph, the Village Museum and Baneasa Shopping City mall are all within five kilometres.

By train and public transport from Gara de Nord train station:

  • From North Railway Station it is a 10 -15 minutes drive distance at noon and night. During rush hours 8:00 -10:00 AM and 5:00-7:00 PM it is 20 - 30 minutes drive distance.

By plane and public transport from Henri Coanda International Airport

  • 12 KM, 18 min drive
  • 13 mins by taxi (approx. €12) 
  • 40 mins by public transport

By car:

  • From the airport, take the national road DN1 in the city centre direction until Piata Montreal roundabout. Follow the first exit on the right and drive until the first traffic light, where you turn left. In about 50 metres, you will find the hotel on the left.

  • Ample outdoor parking including two electric charging stations with a power of 22kW, each equipped with a Type 2 connector.

The parking lot is in the front of the hotel at 50 meters distance and has a directly exit to the entrance of the hotel building.
